It Takes Two

Our standard practice is to use two coordinators for nearly every wedding. Since most other wedding coordinators work solo, we often get asked why we do things differently.

The short answer? Because, in our experience, it just works better. It’s the best way to give you a smooth, stress-free experience—and make sure no detail gets missed.

Weddings are live events with dozens (sometimes hundreds) of moving parts: setup, vendor arrivals, ceremony cues, family wrangling, timeline shifts, and last-minute surprises. One person simply can’t be everywhere at once, but two can.

Here’s what that looks like in action: While one coordinator is cueing the ceremony, the other is working with vendors or handling unexpected issues. One can manage the reception setup while the other is checking in with the photographer and bridal party. One coordinator can be outside in the hallway helping the wedding party line up for the processional while the other coordinator gives music cues to the DJ. If there’s a wardrobe malfunction, a cake delivery delay, or a change in weather, there’s always a calm, capable person ready to step in without skipping a beat. When there are different locations for ceremony and reception, one coordinator can be at each venue to help set up, communicate with vendors, adhere to the timeline, and help guests get where they need to go. And setup and cleanup are much more likely to get done on time if we have four hands instead of two.

The even better news is that, even with two coordinators, our pricing won’t break the bank! However, if your event is very small (under 40 guests) and has minimal logistics, we may recommend just one coordinator - but even then, we’ll assess your unique needs to make sure you're fully covered.

We believe your day deserves to run seamlessly. And there are just so many ways that two coordinators working together can make that happen. It’s less stress for you…and for us!
